The Department of Zoology came existance in 1989 with a view to prepure the students desirous of learning understanding teaching and practcing various aspects of animal science . The department offers teaching in the subject Zoology at the U.G.level for BSc.

It offers an Undergraduate Programme (B.Sc.) with subject combinations such as:

Zoology – Chemistry – Botany

Zoology – Biotechnology – Chemistry

Zoology – Anthropology – Chemistry

These combinations provide students with a broad and balanced understanding of animal science and life processes.
